Joint Marketing of Facilities
 
 
The second strand of activity highlighted on the Action page states that the Network will analyse the potential for the joint marketing of facilities. With the construction of a website the Network has decided to use this is an opportunity to bring to the attention of other the facilities that Members have available.
 
 
 
 
 
Coalburn Miners Welfare
 
Coalburn Miners has a fantastic range of facilities available for conferences, training courses and meetings. Full information is found on their website www.coalburnmw.org.uk or you can download the conference brochure here.

Loanhead Miners Charitable Society
 
Loanhead has a range of facilities available for hire, current users include Midlothian Council, Midlothian Community Health Partnership, Carr Gomm Scotland and others. Community activities range from Yoga to Dancing, some activities are age specific further details available on request.

A full facility brochure is available to download here, this tells about the facilities on offer including the modern community centre built only 3 years ago which is a conference and training facility situated in the heart of Midlothian.

The Scottish Mining Museum is the central archive and visitor attraction for the Scottish mining heritage, social and mining history for Scotland. The Scottish Mining Museum is a 5 star visitor attraction located in one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian colliery in Europe.
